Season 50 - Golden Anniversary Season
As we near the start of our 50th year and golden anniversary season, we’re excited to share the shows that we’ll be presenting in 2024-25:
The Enchanted Bookshop (July 2024) - A seemingly ordinary bookstore transforms into a magical realm at night, where characters from beloved books secretly come to life. Roles for children.
A Streetcar Named Desire (Aug 2024) - Blanche DuBois, a fading Southern Belle, clashes with her brutish brother-in-law in a battle of wills and desires. This classic drama is a gripping exploration of power, passion, and the elusive nature of truth.
The 39 Steps (Sept 2024) - In this hilarious romp, a bored chap gets tangled in a spy caper complete with mistaken identities and dastardly villains.
Misery (Oct 2024) - In a rollercoaster ride of terror originally by Stephen King, a famous author finds himself trapped in the clutches of his "number one fan.”
A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol (Dec 2024) - Beloved fairytale characters step into the shoes of the Christmas classic’s characters – including The Big Bad Wolf as Scrooge, and other familiar faces like the Fairy Godmother, Old King Cole, and the Queen of Hearts. Roles for children and adults.
A Midsummer Night's Dream (Feb 2025) - Love gets tangled in a hilarious mix-up thanks to mischievous fairies and a dash of magic flower power! Chaos ensues as everyone falls madly in love under the moon's whimsical glow.
Radium Girls (Mar 2025) - In this true story, young women working in radium dial factories fight for justice against the deadly consequences of their work. With courage and determination, they shine a light on corporate negligence and the power of solidarity in the face of adversity.
Steel Magnolias (May 2025) - Southern charm meets steel determination as a group of women navigate life's joys and sorrows with humor, heart, and hairspray.
Macbitches (June 2025) - A freshman's unexpected casting as Lady Macbeth sparks a boozy gathering with upperclassmen, where the potent mix of Fireball and Svedka fuels a hilarious exploration of ambition and power dynamics within the theater department's hierarchy. Roles for older teens/college-age adults.
