So you want to audition?

Pumphouse Players welcomes auditioners of ALL experience levels! Even beginners!

Our auditions are typically held Monday and Tuesday at 7:30 PM in the Legion Theatre lobby. There may be some special exceptions (e.g. Jr. auditions or callbacks). We recommend checking the show-specific events below to make sure you know the specific times and dates!

Unless otherwise noted in the audition event, auditions are by cold reading. That means no preparation needed! Here’s some more information on cold reading.

We recommend trying out for anything that sounds interesting! No one will be cast every time they audition, but we encourage folks to keep trying until they find their perfect role.

Rehearsal schedules are usually determined using the availability of the cast and crew. Please note that “tech week” (the week before the show) is mandatory. If you have questions, we recommend getting in touch with the director or emailing us at info@pumphouseplayers.com.
