One Slight Hitch – June 23 – July 1
For the final show of their 42nd season, the Pumphouse Players are excited to present One Slight Hitch by Lewis Black. Opening Night is June 23rd, and it runs through July 1st.
This hysterical farce revisits the early 1980’s and is loosely based on the playwright’s own experience with love.It concerns Courtney, a free-spirited author who finds herself caught in a bizarre love triangle, when Ryan, her former lover, hitchhikes his way back into her life on her wedding day! Amid New Wave music and Reganomics, hilarity ensues as Courtney’s father and sisters go to unimaginable lengths to keep Ryan hidden from Courtney and her over-bearing mother, and Harper, her future husband. Will Courtney choose the impulsive (and pantless) slacker, Ryan? Or, will she choose the rational and successful Harper?
The cast and the directors have worked very hard to ensure that you will spend most of this show laughing, so purchase those tickets ASAP! Tickets are $18 for General Admission, $15 for PHP members, and $13 each when purchased in groups of 10 or more online.
As always, the Pumphouse Players thank each and every one of you who continue to support us in any way. Our 43rd season is just around the corner, be on the lookout for new shows!
