ABOUT THE SHOW

“Once you are Real you can’t become unreal again. It lasts for always.” A stuffed toy rabbit’s quest to become real through the love of a child drives this adaptation of Margery Williams’ timeless tale that celebrates the power of love to transform our lives. Join a boy and his rabbit in a world of strange and wonderful magic with talking toys, wild adventures, and secret burrows, as they come to discover the true meaning of what it is to be Real.

SIGN-UPS

PLEASE READ ABOUT THE 2021 PROCESS HERE: There are only 20 slots available for this summer’s program. Please register EACH AUDITIONER via our EventBrite here. Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: if you have more than one auditioner, you will need to register for one slot or “ticket” for each with all their information completed.

If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Laurel via email at president@pumphouseplayers.com.

AUDITIONS

Auditions will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 11 AM. We ask that our families please limit the number of non-auditioner attendees (e.g. additional guardians, siblings, etc.) as much as possible so we can spread out. At this time, adults are required to wear masks inside the Legion Theatre.

REHEARSALS/PERFORMANCES

Rehearsals will be held for the show primarily on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30pm starting with a read-through on May 18. There are two tentative Saturday rehearsals on the schedule that will be confirmed at the read-through based on availability of the cast and crew.

Tech week rehearsals will be each evening July 12-15. Performances will be July 16 at 7 pm, July 17 at 3pm and 7pm, and July 18 at 3 pm.
