WHO CAN AUDITION?
Adults of all ages, looks, and experience levels (even beginners!) are invited and encouraged to try out!
WHAT AM I AUDITIONING FOR?
We’re hosting auditions for our online fall events, including staged readings, short play presentations, and more! While PHP focuses on new original work this fall, we’re going to need the talents of lots of performers who can rehearse and perform over Zoom. If you’re interested in being considered for roles in any/all of these upcoming productions, submit your audition video to info@pumphouseplayers.com.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
When you sign up for auditions, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to our selected monologues. You’ll be asked to record yourself performing two of our selected monologues: one comic, one dramatic. We recommend memorizing or heavily familiarizing yourself with the script you choose. Using a smartphone, laptop, or webcam to record is perfect! Once you’re happy with your performance, you can submit your video via email to info@pumphouseplayers.com.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF & WHEN I GET CAST?
We will provide all of the audition videos to our directors, and you may be offered a role in any of our upcoming fall events. We will be casting these on a rolling basis, so be sure to check the email you provide us regularly.
