The night had started like any other. The girls had gathered at Olive Madison’s apartment for their weekly Trivial Pursuit game when the phone rang. The marriage of their friend Florence Unger was over, and Florence was missing! When she shows up at Olive’s home ready to kill herself, Olive takes her in. While it seems like a good idea at the time, the two quickly realize that Olive’s devil-may-care lifestyle has no place in Florence’s incredibly neat and fussy world. With tempers flaring and food flying, they both know that they need to reach a decision before their friendship is destroyed or, worse yet, they murder each other. This Neil Simon classic has been called “very funny indeed” (N.Y. Post) and “endearing” (USA Today).
