Harvey – August 8-23, 2014

The classic comedy Harvey, by Mary Chase, was made famous by actor Jimmy Stewart in the 1950’s film version. This classic will start the season off with laughter as we learn about Elwood P. Dowd, who claims to have an unseen (and presumably imaginary) friend. The only problem is that his friend, Harvey, is a six foot, three-and-a-half inch rabbit! His sister decides she has had enough of his eccentric behavior and has him committed to a sanitarium. Tables are turned, however, when the sister is mistakenly assumed to be on the verge of lunacy. You won’t want to miss the laughter!
